The main reason I picked this hotel was because of the excellent customer rating on hotels.com. Other people may overlook this hotel for that reason. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The associate who checked me in was very friendly, and helpful when I made inquiries as to where to go for dessert. Gave me two bar tokens instead of one when I jokingly asked for a second one. But right off the bat, she apologized for being on the phone when I walked up. She was clearly on a call with a guest. It's those little things that stand out. The room was charming. Had that lodge feel to it. Beautiful bathroom, well supplied with good soaps, etc. I had a nice drink in the bar (only used one token in the end :) Had a nice buffet breakfast the following morning."

The room was very nice and clean. The view was specatular. This hotel is downtown and within walking distance of many great shops and restuarants. We were in town for a concert at the LaCrosse Center. This hotel actually has a skywalk which was great. We had breakfast on the onsite restuarant and the food was fabulous. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in La Crosse again. "
