" - "Despite some poor reviews I read prior to booking, this hotel was perfectly fine! My family and I stayed here for the weekend before the Total Solar Eclipse and had a great time. The breakfast was better than advertised with hot sausage, eggs, and pancakes (at least for that weekend) and the Papa John's Pizza on-site was really good! We used the pool and hot tub a couple of times and it was clean and well maintained during our visit. The front desk staff was very nice and they really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable including keeping the coffee bar in lobby well provisioned. Our room was perfectly adequate for a family of 4 and appeared well cleaned. The sheets and mattresses were clean and soft, and none of us had any problems sleeping. The air/heat worked great and they had a good cable tv selection to choose from. I really have no complaints, sure the room decor is a bit dated but when you're looking for a place to stay within walking distance of a huge tourist destination are you really concerned with what the drapes look like?
