Some also have a balcony. Landhaus Koller’s restaurant serves traditional Salzkammergut cuisine with many regional and seasonal products. Every morning a large breakfast buffet with homemade bread and jams, as well as milk and butter from nearby farms, is served. The garden features a large, heated outdoor pool and a children’s playground. A sauna, an infrared cabin, and a steam bath are located in a wooden building opposite the Koller Landhaus. Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is located right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free center and 492 feet from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. Combining modern and traditional elements, the Zauner Seewirt’s rooms feature satellite TV, a seating area, and a bathroom. All rooms can be reached by elevator. The P1 car park is 0.6 mi away, and a shuttle service to the hotel is available. Free shuttle service is available only for check-in and check-out but not for transport during stay. Please note that this property offers contactless check-in (from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and check-out (until 11 a.m.). The room keys and all other information will be available in a prepared envelope in the lobby (ground floor) from 3:00 PM! We are happy to assist you during our restaurant hours. We do not have a reception. The property does not serve any breakfast.

Located in the car-free center of the World Heritage town of Hallstatt in Upper Austria’s Salzkammergut region, the 4-star superior Seehotel Grüner Baum offers spacious rooms with panoramic views of Lake Hallstatt. First mentioned in 1700, the fully renovated hotel offers a historic ambiance, which has already served as a backdrop to several movies. Empress Sisi, the Austrian author Adalbert Stifter, Agatha Christie and many other personalities have stayed at this hotel. Seehotel Grüner Baum faces the historic market square on one side, while the other side of the building opens up towards the lake and features a terrace. Every day, the restaurant Zum Salzbaron serves freshly caught fish from the lake. Parking is possible for a charge in the P1 parking area outside the town. From there, free shuttle bus to the hotel is available (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.).
