Set on the edge of Mount Etna Regional Park, Antico Borgo Petralia is actually an ancient hamlet that opened to the public in 2011. It features a pretty courtyard, garden and swimming pool. This historic property just outside Zafferana Etnea has an impressive stone façade and lots of original features. Guests can enjoy drinks out in the courtyard and relax on the sun loungers scattered around the pool. Rooms are cool and comfortable with tiled floors and air conditioning. Set at an altitued of 1640 feet above the sea level, at the foot of Mount Etna, Monaci delle Terre Neer is 1.2 mi outside the town of Zafferana Etnea. A former winery surrounded by the greenery and vineywards, it offers free Wi-Fi and parking. The property extends over a surface of 25 hectares and the rooms are distributed throughout the entire area. Set either in the main historical building or immersed in the property's vineyards, the elegant rooms at this boutique property have original features such as wood-beamed ceilings or exposed stone walls. Each one has a balcony or patio with a view of the garden, sea or Mount Etna. An organic breakfast buffet is served daily. Set in the Regional Park of Mount Etna, the Airone Wellness Hotel features a panoramic swimming pool and a luxury wellness center. There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby, and all rooms offer air conditioning. Parking is free. The hotel features a traditional country style. The free spa is complete with hot tub, steam bath, sauna and other regenerating treatments. In the evening, sample some traditional Sicilian cuisine at the restaurant. All rooms come with a 32'' LCD TV and a tea/coffee maker. Some feature panoramic balconies. Breakfast consists of sweet an savory products, as well as a gluten-free corner. Hotel Airone Wellness is outside the small town of Zafferana Etnea, famous for its honey production and the Ottobrata fair which takes place every October.
