We did not know what to expect (first time staying with AfriCamps) but the tents exceeded our expectations. The tent was equipped with everything we needed. The staff were lovely and helpful. The shop at reception had everything you need. You can buy fresh milk from the dairy at reception (kids devoured this). The highlights for the kids were the horse ride (extra cost), feeding the donkeys, the huge play area next to the tents and don't forget the treasure hunt. You can download an app to do a treasure hunt around the camp. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed this adventure. They rode their bicycles from point to point and we joined in with our tekkies. We also did the forest trail which is a beauty. We cannot wait to try out some of the other AfriCamps after this holiday."

The view of the beach and shoreline is absolutely amazing, which including watching a pod the dolphins , swimming by one morning . The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. The room was very quiet except for the natural relaxing noise of the waves from the beach, if you left the balcony door open. Breakfast and Dinner were delivered to my room, which suited me . The AC / heater worked very well. The staff were all very helpful. This hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this must be one of the best hotels in the Western Cape, possibly in South Africa . I will be back again in November."
