One host in the breakfast bar showed me how to make greek coffee which was very considerate of him! We had one meal in the hotel restaurant which was delicious and spent 2 evenings in the rooftop terrace bar which was very popular and provided a stunning view of the port and surrounding area. Plus the cocktails were very good and staff were really friendly. The spa facilities are a little out of date and some things no longer work but the luxury of an indoor pool, sauna, steam and hot tub was still very pleasant and we cannot fault staff for showing us around and providing towels robes etc. The nearby outdoor pool was very salty but had shower facilities and staff were attentive. Our sea view room was simple but pleasant, comfortable and clean with a nice balcony. The air conditioning unit was a little loud but we had earplugs so not too much of a bother. Parking was easy and convenient and the location of being 10 mins walk from town was great. Volos has a good range of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants and we really enjoyed our 3 day stay."
