The towers at the gate, the main lodge and the chalets were incredible wiith the thatched roofs and the large deck.. Inside, the cabin was immaculate, it was beautiful and very modern and comfortable. I loved the kitchen, and the fully tiled spa like bathroom . One of the best features was the location, so quiet and peaceful even though it was off the beaten. path but close to Brattleboro, We will definitely stay at the Viking Village the next time we visit Vermont."

The staff was on top of everything (sorry, I'm not good with names, so this is lacking personal shout outs).The room and remainder of the common areas were exceptionally clean. There were numerous antiques throughout, consistent with the age of the property. The room was spacious, jacuzzi tub was relaxing, and the fireplace within the room added to the ambiance. Dining and drinks were amazing, including dinner as well as the pub fare. If you have time, try one of the many Stave puzzles, they're quite the challenge! If you're looking for a low key, get away from it all location, you've found the perfect spot. I know we will be returning as often as we can."
