- "The house is very special. Its location is amazing, sitting as it does on an escarpment overlooking the surrounding planes. Breakfast was delicious and very well received. A gardener visited while we were staying. The terrace and views are outstanding which I could enjoy either in bed with large windows open or while enjoying the terrace during breakfast or at any time of our day. The staff and owner and his son were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful with set honey, purée apple, raspberry coulis, jams. We stayed for four nights and got different variations which went beautifully with the delicious fresh croissants, bread and pain au chocolates. You will have a choice of eggs and we enjoyed a omelette every morning with Brie on the side which varied I particularly liked the one with seeds and beautiful ham. The orange juice was obviously freshly squeezed as I had the odd pip but of course this was welcomed as I knew it wasn’t from a carton or bottle from a supermarket. I would love to visit again . I would like to thank all the staff and family for making us feel so at home and welcome. Due to us choosing to be out all day every day we didn’t use the jacuzzi’s, sauna and gym which was a shame as we visited all facilities and were all of a high standard. We took our sixteen year old son and they organised a perfectly comfortable temporary bed for him in our room at no extra cost including breakfast."

Two old books were placed as decoration on the fire place of our room. It took some searching, but I'm pretty sure one of those was a first edition about Louis 14 from 1717. There is a beautiful garden to have your own cooked dinner, drinks or breakfast."
