This is the most beautiful boutique hotel you will find around Galle. Beautiful decor, art, vibe, feel. We were meant to stay 4 nights, ended up staying 7 nights. We preferred to lose the money at a hotel in Bentota, just to come back here for three more nights. We understand this sounds pretentious, however, this place is so good, we felt was the right move to really finish the holiday on a high note. Perhaps the highlight is the service. A one on one superb service. Vishan surely is the most helpful and kind soul out there. Nothing was impossible for him. The chef, the cleaning staff and even the gate staff were amazing. The rooms are gorgeous, clean and very, very spacious. Beautifully decorated. We stayed two nights at a pool room and the rest of the nights at a beach view room (also with pool access). Both were equally amazing, with direct access to the gorgeous infinity pool, handy outdoor shower, comfortable mattress and pillows. The food was amazing, breakfast was superb and abundant. Although the beautiful beach in front of the hotel is not swimmable (lots of coral reef) there are swimmable beaches a few meters away. And the presence of coral reef means seeing the fishermen early in the morning do their special Sri Lankan fishing technique. We would spend all morning and afternoon at the hotel (not wanting to leave) and around 4pm get ready for our Galle fort daily stroll (about 15-20min away by car). Visiting the old Galle city during day time is torturous as the temperatures are super high and super humid. So Galle old town for sunset and dinner every night was a great plan. Plenty of places to go for dinner, plenty of shopping and plenty to walk. We felt secluded, private, cared for, pampered, comfortable…. Such a great stay!"

The staff is very friendly and truly customer oriented. At the reception we were greeted with refreshing cocktails. We checked into the room ahead of time, not at 14.00, but at 11.00. Since this is our first time in this country, we turned to the staff for help in various situations and with quite specific requests. I can say with confidence that the staff in the complex will make the best impression on you - with their attitude, tact, attention to guests, the cleanliness of the hotel in general and the room in particular, and the cleaning of the area. Linen was changed every two days, and we regularly refused to do cleaning. We booked for two weeks and initially did not plan to rent a scooter or car. We traveled by tuk-tuk. Once you get used to the prices, local trips average less than $8 per day. Supermarkets and local food are within walking distance. The main tourist area is about 7 minutes on foot. The pool is excellent, the water is wonderful, no chemicals, it is cleaned regularly. We swam periodically in the morning or late in the evening. There are no mosquitoes at all. Several times we saw a couple of peacocks, a monitor lizard, a bunch of chipmunks, a couple of species of monkeys, flying foxes and strange birds on the territory. At the time of our stay, most of the rooms were empty, so we had full harmony, silence and comfort. In the room: tea station, towels, shower set, water, hairdryer, safe - everything is there. Wifi is excellent, it didn’t let me down. There is a restaurant on the 1st floor, the food is quick and tasty, they always adjust the spiciness of the dishes.
