There is also a well furnished gym (lots of equipment that can accomodate any work out including cardio, weights, reformer pilates) and a beautiful spa that is super relaxing. There is also a beautiful dining area where you can enjoy food and drinks made by the team. The chefs were amazing - we could not get enough of the food!!! There is a great range of local and international dishes, and a lovely range of drinks on offer. Uma Kalai can also arrange lots of private tours - they’ve got something for everyone including a sunrise hike up Mount Batur, a guided trip to the rice fields, a jungle trek, a visit to a water temple or the monkey forest etc … they make it super easy for you to plan your trip. Last but definitely not least, the staff are world class. The entire team provided stellar service and made a special effort to connect with us and remember our food/drink preferences which we thought was so special. From the impeccable service to the exquisite surroundings, every moment felt like a journey into paradise. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience. We will be back. Oh one more thing - the fitness gym was perfect (also loved the Spa). They even had a 'theragun' for self-massage. In all my travels, I have never seen a fitness center offer this."
