Walk into reception and you are greeted by the most welcoming host, Manuel who is very eager to explain things about the hotel and things to do around Tropea. Our room was very clean, nicely furnished and had a balcony overlooking the immaculate kept pool area. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to swim in the pool. The bathroom was big and had a rain shower and separate hand shower. Breakfast was excellent and was well managed by the very nice lady who was there every morning. - "Arrived via overnight train and the staff were very accommodating in providing early check in and access to the room. Initially had the garden suite, which was a nice studio size room with an outdoor table to sit and enjoy a drink but had to switch rooms and ended up getting upgraded without any fuss. The beds and pillows were firm but comfy to sleep on. The breakfast was a treat with a good mix of traditional American style (bacon and eggs) and typical Italian breakfast foods. Location to walk to the main center of the old town where all the restaurants are located. Quiet area and strong wifi connection allowing for remote work without disruptions.
