By way of background, we had disembarked from a yacht charter, very tired having not slept but Anne arranged for us to have breakfast even though the dining room had closed. Basic things aside, one key point that you cannot look or ask for is a hospitable, understanding host. Ana and her family are that and much more. We talked with them about the local cuisine, traditions, culture, their way of life, not because we felt pressured to do so, but because it is what great hosts inspire you to do. This was our first time in Seget Vranjica - third time in Croatia overall with time spent in Zagreb, Zadar, Split, and many paradise islands in the Adriatic - and while the village itself may not be the most spectacular place (even though it has its breathtaking moments!), we would love to come back, just to spend more time around Ana, her hospitality, and the wonderful home-like atmosphere she and her family have built, and are maintaining constantly. Cannot recommend this experience more!"
