Do take the cooking class as they will take you around the property and show you all the wonderful things they grow on site (Thai cherries, star fruit, ginger, many many herbs!) They have a beautiful outdoor kitchen where you will prepare the dishes for your meal. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! Just walk past the gate and you feel like you are in the country far from town. There is a stream that runs throughout. A beautiful swimming pool. They have a pet water buffalo, Kunai which means Diva in Thai. At night there is no noise of any cars or traffic - all you hear are the frogs and insects making the most beautiful night music. My visit was extended because I caught the flu and they took such wonderful care of me, bringing soup and ginger tea to my room. Judy and her family are kind, caring warm hearted people. I definitely plan on returning."
