- "Los Colibris is a beautiful place and everything worked seamlessly. My little villa on the hillside had everything I wanted: DRINKABLE water (fantastic!), beach towels and umbrella, a beautiful view of the Pacific (migrating whales included), an incredibly comfortable bed, hot shower, a nice little kitchen (with even an ice tray in the freezer - yay), coffee and an easy-to-use coffee maker, and the most lovely patio visited by hummingbirds, orioles and finches. I spent my late afternoons whale-watching from the hot tub. The pool was beautiful too, but too cold for me in January. The hot tub was primo. Everything was spotlessly clean. I was traveling alone and felt safe there. They said the local beach was a 20-minute walk, but it would have been a hike for me to get back up the hill, so I drove. I think a car is really necessary there because the place is also about an eight-minute drive to the center of town. Plus, I drove to the next beach south, Los Cerritos, which was a better beach because you can swim and there are facilities there. The Todos Santos beach is beautiful but there are no bathrooms. At Los Cerritos I got a beach chair and umbrella, from which I watched several whales breach. Magical. I appreciated that the Los Colibris owners seem to be involved in environmental efforts around Todos Santos, as opposed to just wanting to squeeze the most money possible from their property. But that is just an impression."
