Where the beach ends, the snorkeling begins and we saw some very awesome sea life including manta rays and turtle not to mention the colorful reef fish. And where the snorkeling ends, the private island of Hajara, walkable to, across the reef during low tide, will make the holiday an affair to remember. Mr. Atheef and team setup an umbrella with tables and chairs and brought in food and drinks for our own Maldivian picnic on that island. Snorkels, Bikes and canoes were supplied as and when needed. He also organized a trip to Addu park and Koattey beach, a must visit site on the north of the atoll. By the way this is the only island where a long 15 km road connects the various islands of the atoll. But he took it one more level up by organizing a special trip to the southernmost end of the island which needs special permission and escort vehicles to get to that place. Literally called Southernmost point, it’s the last point at the southern end of Maldives. A truly magical place. Finally he rounded it off with a dolphin watching trip on one of the Dhonis. A must do adventure and more fun if the sea is choppy. Overall the stay at 3S and the experience was one of the best trips I’ve taken ever."

At certain times of the day, you can even see some stingray and other ocean creatures while swimming or while on shore. Wi-Fi was available and generally stable within the premises, which was convenient for coworking. The signal was weaker once outside the restaurant area, but overall it worked fine. Another guest had to endure a 7-hour shared boat ride with multiple stops, while in my case the staff secured a direct speedboat transfer via ProJets Ferry Service, which was smooth and on time. What truly made my stay unforgettable, though, was the hospitality of the staff. Special thanks to Hattu, based in Malé, who made sure my transfer went seamlessly, and to Acho/Shifan, who was always ready to help with anything I needed. From landing in Male Airport, every employee makes sure that you are accompanied all the way to your room in the resort. The rooms are clean, big and you can find everything that you may need in the amenities kit. The resort itself is ran by very kind employees who always strike a friendly conversation and gives pertinent advices about the resort. The food in buffet is varied with meals in various cultures as well as few staple foods such as pasta, grilled chicken/beef/seafood and rice if you want to go for "safe" foods. The ocean side happened to be very windy during our stay but the south side of the lagoon has riptides and provides a very nice snorkeling experience with its local reefs with shallow or deeper water. Possible to see a lot of butterfly fish, surgeon fish and some baby black-tip reef sharks if you're lucky ;). A warm thanks to our ambassador Fatima who scheduled every activity for us and always made sure we were up to date in our informations. Another thanks to Cherry, Azeem and Ruwan in Aqua Orange welcoming us very warmly at every meal time and taking our orders at very timely manner ; Monika in Chemistry bar as well! Shoutout to Ravinder, our room keeper, for his very cool towel statues that welcomes us into the room. He also made sure the room was sparkling clean despite it being a beach villa and very prone to the sand ; another one to Sajib for the keeping of our ocean room. Thanks to Ambika, Ayu and Mala in the spa for the superb massage that relaxed the swimming tired muscles."
