At first glance the location is a little unusual, but it’s only a short walk to the pedestrian area along the Dahab waterfront for restaurants, etc, and away for the noise and intensity of of the centre of Dahab. It’s calm location, with beautiful views of the mosque and mountains, with easy access to everything you need is ideal. We were mostly in Dahab for the kite surfing, and Casa d’Or can organize a driver for all transfer to the lagoon (or elsewhere) and back, and put it on your bill (at local rates) so you not need the hassle of negotiating costs with every local driver. As I said, Casa d'Or is a great little hotel with exceptional service."

The space itself is very calming, eco friendly with an amazing yard in the middle and access to beach. It is owned by the most wonderful host, who is welcoming, spiritual, gentle and cared for us like we were staying at her own house. The staff got us all our needs from beach towels to money exchange or planning day trips and getting us food from our favorite places. It was very difficult for me to leave, and I already booked my next trip. I travel all around the world and stay at 5 star hotels and resorts internationally but Dar Dahab feels like a home, it does not give you that feeling of angst that you want to be home after a long vacation, it rather makes you want to stay longer!!!"

Since the access to the sea is flat, it doesn't tire you even if you walk a little. The sea is magnificent, swimming with the fishes was a great experience. Marco informed us about the activities at the beach and we went to White Island with his advice. We were satisfied. It was also a very enjoyable vacation because the hotel is for over 16s. The sandwich and water given to us on our check out the hotel was a very thoughtful gesture. In general, I am very pleased that I chose Baron Palm.
