- "The place was welcoming and had a nice atmosphere. There were two fires blazing in the pub with comfortable seating arrangements. The bedrooms were converted stables or outhouses with high ceilings and beams, ours had a thick wood panel which was nice to look at and the room had a warm cosy feel, it was decorated to a high standard with plenty of space, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to a high standard and this room had a wood burner inside a large fireplace which made the room feel warm and as we were not in a hurry to go out into the chilly day, we had a leisurely time. Our stay was enjoyable and we would go back again, the staff were extremely helpful and attentive."
