She gave us her contact so that we could ask for anything we needed at any time and she would personally bring it over with a smile on her face and a toy for our kids. Our second day there was her day off, we weren’t aware of this so we still contacted her for anything we needed and she happily helped us by relaying our requests to her coworkers. We would like to see her again. We also met Miss Ama there from the breakfast area who was very nice and helpful as well as the entire staff including the golf cart drivers. She explained to us a little bit about the Tibetan culture and why all of the houses (including the ones in Banyan Tree) were all so similar as they followed certain traditions such as the bathroom won’t be on the same floor that we eat food or go to bed and the number of planks on the roof. It was a beautiful stay in Shangri-La. We’ll never forget."
