- "What a lovely room with a massive bed which was so comfy. This was our first hotel when we arrived in the US and it was perfect to acclimatise to a new time zone with black-out blinds and super soft bedding. Staff were very welcoming, we didn't drink in the bar but the decor of the whole place was very trendy. Loved the water fountain on the main floor of our room so we could top up our bottles and I was obsessed with the white noise speaker built into the bed side table, if this isn't for you there is a dial to turn it up, down or off completely. Location was great for all public transport including the cable car and BART. Please ignore all our belongings and stuff in the photos, I forgot to take pictures before we got comfortable."

Honestly, it's as if someone manifested my perfect short-stay hotel - and I have to suspect that someone on the design team had the female business traveler in mind - they offered clothes steamers instead of irons (I've never used an iron but steam all my work clothes), had a little ledge in the shower to prop your foot on while you shave your legs, and even sealed the shower in its own ventilation system so the bathroom remained humidity free, allowing me to dry my hair in the bathroom immediately after getting out of the shower. On top of all this, the beds were comfy (offering both a firm and less-firm pillow option), the in-room coffee was some of the best I've had, the soaps smelled amazing, and each floor has a filtered water dispenser so I can stay hydrated with fresh, clean water! The overall aesthetic of the hotel is lovely as well and I enjoyed access to the outdoors on the 3rd floor terrace/restaurant."
