- "The breakfast at Timothy wasn't our favorite, but the hotel itself was amazing. It's a bit removed from all of the major attractions, but the location was quaint and quiet. Close walking distance to Terimini rail station. The rooms are very spacious, and the hotel felt very secure, with large wooden doors closed to the street at night. There's an amazing church just up the street. It was about a 20-25 minute walk to most attractions like the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish steps. The Colosseum is about a 30 minute walk, or 12 minute uber. It's a perfect place for families and groups, as the rooms are very spacious and even have storage spots for clothes and suitcases."

We are in our 50's and walked everywhere from this hotel. The colosseum is about 15 minutes walk, while the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon about 10 -15 minutes away. We even walked to the Vatican about 25 minutes away. Not to mention Rome Termini where we walked about 7 minutes from the hotel. The air conditioning is excellent as it was 37 degrees (Celsius) for the 4 days we stayed. The rooms are clean and a good size for Rome standards and the complimentary mini bar is a nice touch. The hotel location is in a nice and safe area. The staff are excellent and the breakfast is superb. The hotel has the best breakfast in Rome, but the best part of the breakfast is Alessandro who was so attentive, spoke English very well and had our coffee coming before we sat down! The breakfast caters for all cultures and we could also order our own omelettes, eggs, crepes, etc. Luanna was also very attentive at breakfast and would help us in any way. The hot breakfast just had scrambled egg, bacon and sausage. Gluten free was on request which was lovely. It included gluten free cornflakes, bread and a muffin. The room was a good size, comfortable bed and pillows, tea and coffee facilities in the room. It was spotlessly clean, the ensuite bathroom was clean too. Heating was easy to use and you could adjust yourself. We visited mid February. There was a roof top bar also but we didn't visit it."
