From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly, made comfortable, given a traditional welcome and then a tour of the hotel (it is not large, just 8 guest rooms, a dining room and a rooftop dining/sitting area with a wonderful view of the blue city and fort). Ritik, whose family owns Khamma Heritage, is a delightful young man who could not have done more to help us throughout our stay. His younger brother and cousins were also attentive and courteous. The rooms were large, with very comfortable beds and everything was spotlessly clean. There were snacks in the rooms on arrival, a fridge and a plentiful supply of drinking water. The en-suites were spacious and the showers were hot. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Breakfast was cafeteria style, with a good range of fruit, cereal, Indian (vegetarian) and continental options. We ate one lunch (on the rooftop) and an evening meal in the dining room. Ritik’s mother cooked wonderful food (vegetarian, no eggs, as Jain religion), taking into account our eating preferences, and our plates were topped up for as long as we could keep eating. I had planned to arrange activities myself in the Jodphur area, but when Ritik offered to arrange everything for me, and mentioned prices that were considerably cheaper than those online, I decided to trust him instead. I’m so glad that I did. He arranged tuk tuks to take us from the hotel up to the fort (for zip lining - brilliant fun), a guide to take us on an evening walking tour around the city (excellent) and another to take us on a 4hr Bishnoi village tour (an enjoyable mix of nature, crafts/textiles and insight into a very unique community). He even gave my son a lift up to the fort on the back of his motorcycle, which my son loved, and made sure we boarded our train at the correct place on the platform."
