If you are lucky, Christina will agree to cook dinner for all guests who are interested. We had guinea fowl, duck and chicken and it was one of the highlights of our trip. This place is not to be missed!"

The room itself was beautifully appointed, with high-end furnishings and an excellent bathroom. The staff at Borgo Vescine were incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing excellent recommendations for local walks, sights to see, and wines to try. One evening, they even arranged for a birthday cake to be brought out during our dinner, which was a truly wonderful surprise. While the breakfast coffee wasn't exceptional, and there were limited vegetarian options at dinner, the overall dining experience was excellent, featuring delicious local cuisine and superb regional wines. We particularly enjoyed the private wine tasting hosted by the knowledgeable sommelier, Matia. The only minor downsides were the ongoing construction work on the property's vineyards (which still allowed for exceptional views from the pool area) and some safety concerns with the poolside umbrellas during high winds. But these were small inconveniences in an otherwise flawless stay. The Vignale includes a collection of antique furniture, frescoed ceilings, and grand fireplaces. There is also a TV room, lounge bar, and library.
