I was working remotely during my week stay and I had zero issues with the wifi, it was exceptional. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, a small mercado just up the hill (literally around the corner), a laundry across the street and all of the neighbors are friendly - greeting you with a smile! Make sure you check out the coffee shop also just up the hill! I used the hotel to arrange a taxi from the airport, and Freddy was wonderful. I hired him several times on my trip to take me places. I could not have felt more cared for on my solo trip to Quito. Notes: if you are sensitive to noise, book the top floor rooms (there are two). I always travel with a fan and ear plugs. Street noise was minimal as the windows are very noise dampening."

There were water filling stations from filtered jugs inside the hotel. The location was excellent - close walking to restaurants and bars, easy for taxis to find, and felt very safe.
