Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar."

- "After walking the road to the hotel, you feel like you've arrived in paradise. The rooms are spacious and clean and are located very close to the beach and the food is simply sensational. When it's low tide, a very spectacular sand island forms in front of the hotel where a lot of tourists go to take pictures as if they all met at once. Last but not least, I want to appreciate the staff, very welcoming and smiling from the reception to those who took care of the garden. Congratulations!"
