The villa was fantastic and it was obvious that the resort owners thought of every tiny possible detail that would make our stay as comfortable as possible. I mean - pillow mist? A flashlight? A picnic basket for the beach? My fiance and I lived in our robes the whole time. Lastly, the private beach with the temples and Buddha statue in the close distance was magical. The place is lush and tranquil, and the dogs are well cared for and living their best lives. My bungalow was spacious and spotless with a modern A/C and a refrigerator with cold water. The food is as authentic as can be, cooked up by Thai native Mook, while you chat and enjoy a cold drink at the bar. I cannot overstate how great these dishes were. Fresh, varied and unbelievably tasty. The hosts themselves made every effort to engage and make my stay comfortable. They're friendly and funny, with strange and interesting stories to tell. Rick caught me driving off with a flat tire. Not only did he change the tire to a spare but arranged for the flat one to be fixed at the local mechanic the same day. Thanks buddy. If you are a dog person, this is where you go. If you are not, I'd recommend alternatives. I stayed 3 nights as a solo traveler, looking for a peaceful place to read my books.
