The room was comfortable and maintained everyday with a range of complimentary tea, coffee and delicious biscuits to choose from. The food at the hotel was fantastic: there was a good choice on offer for breakfast each morning and the evening meals were delicious and of high quality. A big thankyou to the team at Battlesteads for such a welcome and pleasant stay. From the cleaners who maintained our rooms and gave a cheery ‘good morning’ to us each morning as we got up for breakfast, to the Reception, bar and restaurant staff who were always friendly, polite and extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to help my father to arrange vehicle recovery when his motorcycle broke down and the maintenance worker on site also took his time to try and help resolve the issue. We genuinely felt welcome and will certainly be recommending Battlesteads to any family or friends intending to visit the area in the future."

This may be negative for some people but wasn't for us as it was nice that there was wedding (can't Access gardens and chapel, so we did next day instead.) but it was lovely too see a wedding on and me and my wife had little dance on our balcony listening to music and before hands we were listening to speeches very emotional in a good way. I could rave on and on and on about this venue. I would recommend it not only as a hotel but also a beautiful wedding venue and I have no doubts we will return in the future!"
