- "Our booking was very last minute as we decided to stay close by to family. A good location close to Harrogate. The room was spacious with a lovely king-size bed. A comfortable settee plus television and storage with provision of drinks and fresh milk in a fridge. This was located upstairs over the bathroom and wardrobe, that also provided a hairdryer and in the hallway a convenient mirror and table rather like a dressing table. Tastefully, decorated.. A breakfast menu was provided to be completed and handed in by mid evening.The homely and spacious dining room was in a separate building along with a social sitting area where drinks could be purchased . The breakfast was fabulous, excellent service ,beautifully presented and very tasty! The hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful.We even received a phone call whilst out dining, to warn us of the road conditions that were dire and to advise us not to park in the carpark, but outside the property owing to flooding. So very kind and considerate.Much appreciated. It was a dark and stormy night...!"
