- "This hotel is an old fishing village on its own island, and you get a hotel transfer by boat from the dock at the end of the Atlantic road, so a great way to approach the hotel, if you are heading northwards. The short boat trip was an experience in itself. The hotel has its own pub which is very comfy and atmospheric. The set evening menu was excellent, as was the buffet breakfast, especially considering that they were catering for no more than 20 people when we stayed. All diners had sea/Mountain View’s from their tables. Our room was one of the old fisherman’s huts, which has been tastefully modernised, including underfloor heating in the bathroom. You can explore the 5 acres of the island and there are some good vantage points for photography."
