- "A great location and staff were fantastic. a great base for exploring Cinque Terre and coming back to a location that was quietly nestled in town within a minute of the restaurants and beach front, the building was once a monastery associated with the church that sits adjacent and had very large comfortable rooms. A great selection at breakfast and the staff were only too willing to accommodate all your needs. We actually left early in the morning to continue our travels and the ladies made up a packed breakfast to take on our journey. would highly recommend this location"

- "The owner! She was absolutely the best. Super kind, helped us shape both of our trips to Portofino and Cinque Terre in the best possible way. We saw so much we did not initially plan. Also, she gave us a better room because it was available. And the day after we checked out, we had left our car in a parking lot on the train station and spent the whole day in Cinque Terre. We came back late, the parking was locked and we could not get our car out. She helped us out by calling people she knew and when that didn’t work, she offered to accommodate us for one more night free of charge. At the end we managed to get our car out, but we will forever remember her kindness and generosity."

- "Superbly lovely people. Moneglia itself is great. The staff throughout were lovely. Make an effort to chat to the owners. Incredibly helpful and friendly welcome …. I arrived by bike. The pool area was good, views great and personally the sounds of the trains coming by I found comforting. Perhaps in part as ‘train’ as my way out for the bike having cycled down in such steep roads. The breakfast was excellent and a very pleasant setting for evening drinks. The other guests were pleasant people too and the rooms great and well thought through. Good WiFi A most enjoyable stay and a place I would happily return to and look forward to, for longer"
