- "Where to begin? From the moment we arrived, our experience at Finca Serena was absolutely perfect. Every member of staff were just wonderful and balanced professionalism with friendliness easily. Our room was spectacular, with plenty of space and stunning decor. We ate at the restaurant both nights and the food was beautiful. Very clever to change the menu each evening so you can eat there again without struggling to find new menu items. We slept perfectly, ate well, and were sad to leave after 2 nights. We feel like we have found a very special retreat that we already cannot wait to return to. It’s also worth noting we are a married gay couple and at no point were we made to feel other during our stay. This is sadly not always the case so credit again to this hotel. Also: the hotel operate a scheme where through donations they offer job opportunities to people who would otherwise not be working (in this case a fabulous cleaner) which is a beautiful thing to do. There are lovely places to sunbathe in the grounds by heated jacuzzis. It’s perfection. The staff are attentive but not pushy. The thermal experience is excellent. The comfort of the rooms is perfect. The food is really the star of this place. It’s exceptional and the wines are good value too. It’s certainly cut off and you will need a taxi transfer if happy to remain on site or hire a car - but why leave!? We rarely return anywhere…. But this really is paradise.
