- "Small and private hotel, run by a friendly couple. The location, the food and the facility was just and even better than what we needed." - "It’s an outstanding place to stay right at the end of Ama-no-Hashidate. It’s a modernized traditional Japanese house with an onsen, whose owners did not spare any effort to make me comfortable, even driving me very early the next day so I can join my friends at their hotel in Miyazu and catch an early train to Kyoto. I wish I could have stayed longer in that dreamy place. Highly recommended."

- "The attention to detail." - "Very clean and comfortable" - "Location- The hotel itself and the surrounding area are beautiful. There is a nice beach and woodland walk next to the hotel. It is quiet and a nice break away from the hussle and bussle of the cities in Japan. Train station is around a 5 min walk. Staff- Very friendly & helpful with the majority speaking fairly good English. Public Baths- The male public baths were spotless and also include a sauna and cold plunge pool. Attention to detail- As with all of Japan, the rooms were extremely clean. The room had a great balcony looking onto a wooded area. I would suggest a 2 night stay to be able to fully enjoy the hotel and surrounding area."

Excellent dinner in particular sashimi and bead. Strongly recommend" - "Very good welcome, considering we arrived at 'check-out time' :) We could leave our luggage under the owner's care without problems or second thoughts. Our room was big and the futon comfortable. The ryokan is located in front of the boat station and near the end of Amanohashidate sand bar, 500 meters from the rope cable station to the viewpoint. We enjoyed the dinner and also the breakfast with a nice view on the bay from the first floor. The shared bathroom had a nice and big onsen bath, very enjoyable after a long day walking around !"

- "Our room has an excellent view just by the shore. Room was huge, with both Japanese and western area and the hot spring bath inside the room is excellent for my travel partner who is not comfortable using the public hot spring facilities. The two meals included were decadent, with lots of courses. Staff was friendly, attentive and the Japanese staff can communicate adequately in English. They do have a few foreign workers in the staff which speaks better English also. Location of hotel is just a 4 minutes walk from Amanohashidate Station."
