The Hotel is located in a VERY tranquil and quiet area next to the sea at 10 minute walking distance of beautiful Megalochori with its excellent restaurants (if not, be mindful when walking to Megalochori at night: take a light, as the traffic is rather heavy and there is minimal space next to the road to walk on). Breakfast was delicious and served beautifully on a large tray every morning at the time I had requested. Maria was a fantastic hostess who went outside her way to ensure that we had an amazing experience. I had made a mistake and booked a 2 room villa initially that my kids were not comfortable with (the rooms were separated and they were a little afraid to sleep in the other room by themselves). Maria understood this and upgraded us to the mansion so that we would all be comfortable. While Megalochori is a little away from the charm of Fira/Oia, Maria and team’s hospitality made it a great stay."
