Nestled on the pristine island of Thelu Veliga, located in the South Ari Atoll, approximately 56 mi southwest of the capital, Malé, Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat features of its own magnificent house reef. - "Everything!" - "The staff, the food, the new marine biologist and the house reef. The new marine biologist Alaina is amazing. She goes out weekly to clean the cages for the fish. I think it is because of her that the house reef is teeming with life! I wasn't a fan of the beach villa because ours had a musty smell. But we were moved to the sand villa and it was perfect! That is really the only complaint I have of the resort. Mangela and I am so sorry, I forget the name of our friend who is the office manager...they helped us with the room change and checked on us daily to make sure we were happy."
