- "Amazing staff, amazing property. Couldn't fault it" - "This hotel was one of the highlights of our three week journey through France. It is a little gem, within walking distance of Honfleur, with its many harbour side restaurants. The host was so welcoming and helpful. He showed us to our room, recommended restaurants and gave us a brief history of the property. Our room was beautiful. Double aspect, with views over the lovely, peaceful gardens. Our bedroom and bathroom were huge, beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. Lovely quality linen and a very comfortable bed. In the garden is a gate which takes you to a footpath, leading to the center of Honfleur. This is a real bonus as the center is not very car friendly! We didn't follow our hosts recommendations (which was a mistake!) but ate in the restaurants by the harbour. The food was OK, but you would be better eating in the town, and having a drink by the harbour. In the hotel, we had a freshly made breakfast, delicious French toast and a huge selection of pastries, cakes, eggs, meats etc. We will definitely return here. It is an ideal place to stay before returning to Caen ferry port, or for a first night stay when arriving in France. Nothing was too much trouble, the house and grounds are beautiful and we were very well looked after. Thank you so much to our host, who does as superb job! Make sure you follow the directions carefully. We were not at all sure where the directions were taking us, but what a treat once we arrived!"
