We had travelled through the night to attend a funeral and arrived much earlier than standard check-in time. The team were extremely accommodating, allowing us to check in early with kindness and compassion, which made a difficult day that bit easier. Our room was large, beautifully presented, and very comfortable – a real haven after a long journey. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, with good water pressure and soft towels. Breakfast was an absolute standout. It was freshly cooked, piping hot, and clearly made from quality ingredients. The buffet was well stocked– and the full Irish felt like a proper home-cooked breakfast, full of flavour and care. We also spent some time in the bar area, which was welcoming and well-run. Even though the hotel was clearly busy with a function, the atmosphere remained friendly and efficient, and we were well looked after by the staff."
