- "We came here for a night as part of our honeymoon. There are beautifully surroundings - we enjoyed a cycle around the lake and watching the olympic rowers training. The building is very unique and grand. There was an incredible view of the lake from the garden. The room was tastefully appointed with all modern conveniences whilst maintaining the grandeur of the building. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety. The host was very friendly and introduced us to the building with some of his small children in tow which was charming. The host also gave us some good tips of local sights to see, including Turenne. We would definitely come back."

- "We loved the chateau, in particular the original decor and authentic furnishings that Sharon has used to furnish the spacious and romantic bedrooms. There are clearly many challenges in restoring a historic building, but Sharon has overcome these and Les Villettes is a gem of a place and not to be missed if travelling in this area. We enjoyed a breakfast of scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, croissants and home made conserves which was all delicious and served in a beautiful dining room. Recommended sans reservation!"
