The owners and staff are friendly and speak perfect English (much better than my Italian or German, to my shame). The complimentary bus pass was an absolute godsend as you'll find yourself on and off the excellent buses constantly and it saved us €€€. The bus stop is just a short stroll from the hotel, too. The fresh and dried fruit, all the nuts and seeds, and the soya milk at breakfast were really appreciated by this vegan. My non-vegan friend enjoyed the pastries and local jams."
