On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the lovely owners who explained the history of the house and how Pauline Bonaparte the sister of Napoleon Bonaparte had been a frequent visitor. The decor is very unique, stylish and eclectic, with modern art and furniture sitting comfortably alongside beautiful antiques. This ambience is carried through to each of the individually decorated bedrooms. Our bedroom came with a large bathroom with impressive stand alone bath and spacious shower. Our bedroom was beautifully appointed with a large and super comfortable bed as well as a statement large leather rocking chair. We especially loved the gorgeous mix of lighting - from intricate antique glass chandelier in the bathroom to fun modern bedside lights which came to life at night giving the room a lovely cosy yet quirky glow. Breakfast is served in the main sitting room and comes with fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious croissants and pain au chocolat. - "The accommodation was fabulous and our Hosts Eric and Sabine could not have been kinder or more helpful. My mum had a fall one evening, walking down to the harbour for dinner and was quite shaken. Eric and Sabine came immediately to collect us. They took us back and patched mum up and Sabine made us a lovely supper! The room, including private hot tub was amazing The pool area was lovely with great views down to the sea.The home cooked organic breakfasts served for us by the pool were a treat to look forward to every day!"
