I was told that I could pay for the upgrade to a room with 2 single beds, but I refused since I wasn't the one at fault. There was zero flexibility from the receptionist. Eventually, I contacted booking.com. They also tried to reason with the receptionist but still no willingness to compromise or find a fair solution. In the end, booking.com agreed to reimburse me for the upgrade even though the hotel falsely advertised the sleeping arrangements. This was a very disappointing experience, especially for such a lovely hotel."
