- "Sublime in every way, this chic estancia is an incredible experience. Each guest room has been decorated under the watchful eye and with original works of an Uruguayan artist. Common places are like an art gallery with massive sculptures, giant split geodes and crystals, and painted ceilings. Horseback riding (included) was the best I've ever done and was a truly free experience -- a casual ride through the fields at dusk rather than being led one behind the other on the trail. Horses are clean, exceptionally well trained, and stables well kept. Also went for an awesome kayak in the morning ($50/hr). Dinner was incredible -- we both had the octopus. We received a pre-dinner impromptu tour of the wine cellar which made it even more special. Breakfast was also terrific, and we ate outside overlooking the bucolic fields. Pool was very nice."
