The resort was well decorated and just next to the seaside. I enjoyed the sunshine and rain in the private bath with the sea view, and that was so relaxing. The futon was the most comfortable bed I've slept on, the views from the room & outdoor bath were gorgeous. When I wasn't walking the nearby trails or popping into the town I was relaxing in the room or bath with sake. This was a welcome reset in the middle of an active vacation. This is my second time staying at zagyosoh and I admit a big reason I came back was due to the Japanese restaurant and it did not disappoint! I appreciated the care, attention to detail, service, and most of all the deliciousness. We requested vegetarian and were impressed with the variety in each meal across 2 nights stay."

The traditional Japanese-style dinner and breakfast were both satisfying and amazing. The private open-air bath was set in a peaceful garden surrounded by trees and flowers. In the morning, we could hear birds singing - it was so relaxing! You can adjust the water temperature by adding more hot spring water (even the regular hot tap water is sourced from the hot spring). It was a truly enjoyable stay, and I highly recommend it! They also have English-speaking staff, which makes everything much easier."
