Betsy and Gary are always attentive to the details and the wonderful staff always preparing delicious meals. The Bluff beach is right in front of the property so the sunrise and sunset walks are to die for. The rooms are impeccable, large and overlooking nature. We celebrated my dad's 85 birthday and it was a unforgettable time. The nature in an around the property is lush, full of life and invigorating. The sound of the waves makes it even more special. You sleep like a baby to that sound and the nice ceiling fans in each room. The lodge is off-the-grid so water is collected from the rain and energy is harvested with solar panels. We hope the area remains a nature-first concept and no big development is allowed around it. Bocas town is far enough for you to feel immersed in nature. The friendliness of the owners and staff are top notch. What an incredible stay! :) Yes, there are hummingbirds all over the property all day long. Then, with a machete, they opened coconuts and served fresh drinks – it was fantastic. The island was deserted for several hours, just as the owner had announced, and we took advantage of this wonderful opportunity to explore it completely. Thank you again for this experience."
