- "The Walper is a beautiful, historic hotel that has been modernized without losing the feel and grandeur of its history and architecture. Well-appointed - from the lobby to its restaurant "TWH Social" and the Barrister Lounge the hotel is comfortable and highly appealing. Reception staff were amazing and provided me with information, directions and ensured that needs were met. Parking is easily accessible in a modern parking garage tower across the street. The hotel is centrally located. The system was down when I went to check out. There was a movie I'd rented that I wanted to pay for separately from my business card. The front desk clerk took my name and assured me that he would separate it out once the system was back up. He not only did that but actually didn't expense the movie to me in the second invoice. I thought that was a nice gesture. I'd definitely return. A very warm feeling at this hotel."

Martin was very helpful and likeable and was so nice to help carry our luggage up and down. The staircase would be difficult if you have mobility issues, but there are rooms downstairs. Really lovely cafe just a few steps away toward downtown. Other good breakfast places easily walkable. The room was terrific - really lovely with generous amenities and snacks/wine! Plus a balcony! We highly recommend Evanndor!"
