Staff were very friendly and the biggest plus was that there were little free touches to make your stay feel deluxe. A free drink round the pool, free pool towels and ice cold cloths to cool, free popsicles in the afternoon, superior robes in the room, a complimentary bottle of red wine! Rooms are comfortable if a little small. I was alone so it was ok but it might be a challenge if more people stayed in a room. Not sure if there are larger rooms but both times the rooms were small. Last time I stayed there my mom was with me and I remember it being small too. All in all comfortable hotel."

Location is great, next to International Market Place, Target, Kona Coffee Purveyor, Marugame Udon, ABC store, and many great restaurants. Also a short walk to Waikiki. Each and Royal Hawaiian Center. Staff were very friendly, happy to store our packages before our arrival. They provided free welcome goodies with eye mask, earplug, chocolate, drink bottles and a beach tote bag. There were some free activities like lei making, ukulele lesson and free shave ice."
