- "The hotel is historic and yet it has been renovated to a very high standard with quality fixtures, fittings and linens. Staff were very friendly and we were sent detailed check in information prior to arrival. They have a beautiful open fireplace away from the main bar which proved to be a great location for a few drinks before dinner. They have a selection of tasty bar snacks and the plates of hot chips are huge and great value for the price. Breakfast was served buffet style along the bar and there was home made muesli, poached fruit and local sourdough on offer. Bacon and egg breakfast burgers can be cooked to order."
