- "The hotel is worth 5 stars! Everything was perfect! It is located in a quiet area, 12 min by foot from the city centre. The parking is big and safe, in a closed garden. The garden is big and very well maintained. The room was big, really big. With a real king size bed, a balcony, decorated with a good taste. It was very clean. The hotel has a nice internal yard with a jacuzzi. Fresh fruit, coffee, tea and biscuits are available 24h as well as fresh water. The air conditioning was very good: we could live and sleep well while it was extremely hot outside. The breakfast is homemade and delicious! And finally the staff was amazing: two ladies preparing the breakfast and cleaning the rooms were really nice and attentive and the owner Enrico was present when needed, provided helpful advice and got us in touch with local business we were looking for. We travel a lot, but it was our the best hotel experience. We highly recommend the place! We will come back again, definitely!"

It didn't have a lake view but no matter as it was easy to make the most of the lake view at all other times -and having a leisurely breakfast looking out across the lake was perfect. Great selection of breakfast - with healthy options such as apple and ginger juice. We hired the hotel e-bikes - first time we've used e-bikes as usually we'd just use our mountain bikes ... however with 34 degree heat we decided to treat ourselves. Definitely worth it as you can still have a work out going up the hill - but you can achieve a greater distance for site seeing. We went up to the 'Pyramidi di Zone' basically an area full of glacial sand towers with boulders perched on top. I can't believe this area is not more famous. It was beautiful! We stopped at the last hairpin bend before you reach the village of Cislano and just walked for 5 mins down the track and we were right next to one of the 'pyramidi'. Anyhow back to the hotel - we also hired paddle boards for 10 euro an hour. These were great fun. Finally dinner was exceptional - we had the spaghetti alle vongole - it was incredible and very generous on the clam front. The pool looked good too - but I can't believe we didn't even use it as the lake was just too tempting:)"
