- "Interesting building - a 17th C nunnery that later was used as a military base and is now a really excellent hotel. Our bedroom was large, quiet and with comfy bed. The heated indoor pool - part of a gym and spa complex- was much enjoyed! The hotel is inside the old town, just a short walk from the castle and for us as Brits the English cemetery was a fascinating insight to the 1811/12 battles led by Wellington.
