Our room had a sea view with lounge seats that we could sit and enjoy our morning coffee whilst watching the Pol Ruan passenger ferry come in. As we only stayed one night we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant, we chose the 3 course menu and were delighted with the quality and presentation of the food, it was modern and packed with flavour and the service was friendly and efficient."

The food was good and the prices were spot on. William Yard is a magnificent Victorian Naval port that has been sympathetically restored and there is a range of bars and restaurants nearby. Bistrot Pierre is at the heart of the Yard. Plymouth is not a very pretty place but it is worth the trip just to see/stay at William Yard and Bistro Pierre. Outstanding rooms and overall ambience. Will go back no question."
