The other seating area off the main foyer displayed old photos and history of the hotel, which was really interesting. The valet service for our car was very handy, but still up there in price at $40 per night. The room was gorgeous, as per the photo in Booking.com. Loved the classy, character panelling, the colours and interior decor, especially the feather lamp in the corner of the bedroom and the hint of Scottish heritage in the bed throw. The bathroom was well-equipped, clean and modern. Really enjoyed the movie channel offered by the hotel that wasn't Sky, which meant we could choose a movie and start it when we wanted to."
