We don't usually do hotel breakfast, but this spread was next level, they had everything and of ridiculously good quality, I'm still thinking about the local camerbert cheese and the cured ham... Tuna sashimi and salmon roe for donburi, ridiculously good local fruits, just the tip of the iceberg, they had everything. We stayed in the off-season (late Sept 2024) so the value of the room was probably one of the best we have come across in the last 15 years of traveling the globe. Oh, didn't mention the beautiful kitchen with everything you need and super high end equipment and pots/pans etc. If you want to spoil yourself in the off-season don't think twice, just book this place. And thank you so much again to the staff for helping us recover our lost item from a previous hotel, you really went above and beyond, and we are eternally grateful. Kokusai ski field is just 40-minutes drive away en-route to Sapporo/ Otaru from Jozankei, so you can check out early in the morning, get in a full day skiing/snowboarding, then drive on to Sapporo/ Otaru."
